Lion Tom Hardebeck holding Fancy, a black Labrador Retriever.  He is a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs of the Desert. Fancy is about 6 months old and will be returned back to her school at approximately 18 months for advanced training.  Check in for updates and pictures

Service Dog In Training

Scout is an assistance dog sponsored by the Encinitas Lions Club.  He is a yellow Labrador Retriever and is currently 4.5 months old.  Lion Sally Montrucchio and her husband, Larry, are training the dog for two years for the school TLCAD, Tender Loving Canines, Assistance Dogs. He is being trained specifically for someone in a wheelchair.  Stay posted for new pictures

SPARKS, Camp Fire Boys & Girls  

Our installation of new officers couldn't have been nicer then at the Encinitas Golf Course patio.  Past District Governor Jake Jacobsen installed the new board and he was a lot of fun. We have another great group of people this year, so I know the year 2000-2001 will be terrific.
