1.  Invite the new member to a board meeting
     to see what their club is doing in the community 

2.  Invite the new member to visit another club meeting
     to meet other Lions and get new ideas to bring back to the club 

3.  Invite the new member to help in a project,
     he/she will feel needed. 

4.  Invite the new member to a Zone Region or District meeting
     so he/she will learn the structure of the district 

5.  Ask the new member to bring a guest to a  meeting
     so he/she can show their involvement in the community 

Reward the Member

Now reward that member by presenting the Proud Lion or Proud Sponsor Pin.  Invite a past Governor, Zone Chairman, Region Chairman, Vice District Governor or Governor to present this award, especially of it is an Advance Proud Sponsor Award. 

Proud Sponsor Pin

Presently the Proud Sponsor program has been expanded.  Knowing that a smaller percent of our members bring in the largest percent of our new members, we are offering eight levels with eight pins of different colors. 

The awards are presented to encourage member's involvement in all levels of Lionism with added emphasis on increasing membership. 

Proud Lion Pins  and Proud Sponsor Pins are $30.00 per dozen plus postage and Proud Lion lapel pins are $18.00 per dozen plus postage.
